At Rocky Hill Recycled Sand and Soil, we have experienced and friendly staff to assist with all of your landscaping and gardening needs. We happily deliver to all areas of Goulburn and Surrounding Districts, Monday to Saturday. No project or order is too big or small, with our fleet of vehicles well equipped to handle your product needs.

Our current fleet includes a 1.5 tonne tipper, 2.5 tonne tipper, 5.5 tonne tipper and 16.5 tonne tipper, with bulk product deliveries also available.


Our Products:

Sandy Loam Topsoil

Our Sandy Loam Topsoil is produced from Sand and Soil, with no added organic materials like manure.

Conversion: 1m3 = 1.5 tonne**

Garden Blend

A special mix created by Carla!
Our Garden Blend is a garden soil enriched with compost and soil conditioners, perfect for the establishment of new garden beds, or as a boost to the existing soil. This product is also well suited for use as a turf underlay, or topdressing for seed and existing lawns.

Conversion: 1m3 = 1.25 tonne**

Tegra Soil

A well draining topsoil well suited for use as a turf underlay. Tegra soil is an economical alternative to other soil mixes.

Conversion: 1m3 = 1.4 tonne**

Macloam Soil

Macloam Soil is produced by reclaiming VENM Loamy Sands sourced and screened from excavation sites. Macloam soil is an economical alternative to quarried turf underlays and are widely used as a general purpose turf underlay.

Conversion: 1m3 = 1.25 tonne*

Mushroom Compost

Packed with nutrients to improve the quality and fertility of garden soils. Mushroom compost is a combination of composted mushroom residues and additional plant material. It is an excellent source of humus, a fantastic rich soil conditioner and can be spread over soil or turned in.

Conversion: 1m3 = 0.60 tonne**

Cow Manure

An organic soil conditioner utilised primarily as an additive to existing soil for trees, shrubs, flower and vegetable gardens for an extra boost of nutrients.

Horse Manure

Horse manure offers a myriad of benefits for the garden including improved aeration and water retention. Typically, this manure releases 50% of its nutrients in the first season with release then slowed for the following years. Constant additions of compost result in the reserves of plant nutrients building up within the soil resulting in seasons where little fertiliser is required.

Conversion: 1m3 = 0.60 tonne**

Rocla Brick Sand

A white brickies sand, fatty with a white coloured natural sand blend tested to ensure suitability as brickies sand.

Conversion: 1m3 = 1.4 tonne**

Fine Single Washed Sand

A white single washed sand suitable for concreting purposes. An excellent option for fine rendering, plastering, kerb and channel projects and lawn care.

Conversion: 1m3 = 1.4 tonne**

Yellow Brick Sand

A great sand for general bricklaying and block work, yellow brick sand can also be utilised as a base under above ground pools. Yellow sand has a higher clay content that other alternatives, which repels water and causes the sand to become stickier and more flexible when mixed.

Conversion: 1m3 = 1.4 tonne**

Washed Coarse Sand

Pale tan in colour, this sand is utilised for concrete, filler, filter material, bedding, hydroponics, equine facilities and landscaping applications.

Conversion: 1m3 = 1.4 tonne**

Sydney Sand

Washed beach dune sand. Well suited to plastering, rendering, tiling, grouting and sand pits, whilst also being suited as a filler for joints between pavers.

Conversion: 1m3 = 1.4 tonne**

10mm Concrete Mix

A blend of washed sand, fine sand and 10mm aggregate ideal for footpaths, slabs for garden sheds, garden edging and core fill for block walls.

Conversion: 1m3 = 1.5 tonne**

Crusher Dust

A fine graded compactable material perfect for under house slabs or under pavers as it is easily worked to level.

Conversion: 1m3 = 1.7 tonne**

20mm Road Base

An excellent material for driveway construction and as a base layer for paving and concrete slabs. Compacts well and will remain solid for many years.

Conversion: 1m3 = 1.5 tonne **

40mm Road Base

A larger road base material suitable as a subbase layer, prior to the 20mm road base layer.

Conversion: 1m3 = 1.75 tonne **

20mm Recycled Road Base

A crushed recycled concrete product, screened to 20mm minus. Perfect for roads and driveways.

Conversion: 1m3 = 1.6 tonne **

Profilings

Asphalt material that has been removed from existing surfaces and processed for reuse.

Conversion: 1m3 = 1.5 tonne**

5mm Drainage Aggregate

Well suited for use as a trench material, sports field rejuvenation, bio retention basins, pipe bedding and behind filter cloth material in retaining walls.

Conversion: 1m3 = 1.6 tonne**

10mm Drainage Aggregate

Well suited to retaining wall fill, plumbing and bedding material and for underground slotted drainage pipe installation. A great general purpose aggregate which is easy to shovel.

Conversion: 1m3 = 1.6 tonne**

20mm Drainage Aggregate

Landscape and driveway material that is easy to walk on and less likely to stick to your shoes. Can be driven on and will stay in place during moderate rain.

Conversion: 1m3 = 1.6 tonne**

Access Rock

25-70mm coarse crushed recycled concrete well suited for site access for building sites, preventing mud leaving the site, and securing access in adverse weather.

Conversion: 1m3 = 1.6 tonne**

40-70mm Drainage Aggregate

Heavy duty drainage material well suited to dish drains, which can also be utilised for site access. A solid performer for the larger projects.

Conversion: 1m3 = 1.5 tonne**

Gabion

75 – 150mm in size, gabion rock is primarily utilised to fill gabion baskets however is also utilised as a drainage blanket material when placed in layers.

Conversion: 1m3 = 1.6 tonne**

Yellow Granite

Decomposed crushed granite with a golden yellow colour. Can be compacted to firm a firm base or mixed with cement to be stabilised.

Conversion: 1m3 = 1.7 tonne **

Red Granite

Decomposed crushed granite with an earthy red colour. Can be compacted to a firm base or mixed with cement to be stabilised.

Conversion: 1m3 = 1.75 tonne **

Pink Granite

Decomposed crushed granite with a pink colour. Well suited to pathways and entertainment areas when seeking a natural rustic feel. The pink/brown colour is softer than the gold option.

Conversion: 1m3 = 1.75 tonne**

White Granite

Utilised primarily for driveways and parking areas. White Granite can be compacted and stabilised to create a hard surface.

Conversion: 1m3 = 1.7 tonne**

20mm White Granite

Aesthetically pleasing, this granite can be utilised for driveway, nature strips and footpaths.

Conversion: 1m3 = 1.5 tonne**

10mm White Limestone

Soft grey / white colour well suited to small areas without being overpowering. This product is rich in calcium and assists to stimulate plant growth in poor quality solid by increasing the pH level.

14mm Cowra Gold

Cowra Gold is a beautiful smooth pebble in mixed colours, from cream to yellow. Gold is the ideal colour to complement sandstone walls and makes a striking contrast to plant foliage in gardens, including Japanese gardens. This size of pebble is not ideal for paths and driveways as the pebbles move around a lot.

14mm Crushed Red Brick

A recycled brick product, well suited as ground cover, garden landscaping and placement around plants, rockeries and stepping stones. This product can also be mixed and formulated with Red Brick Fines for rammed earth walls.

20mm River Pebble

Naturally washed round river stones, 20mm in size. Ranging in colour from blue to brown these rocks are hard and durable for use around gabion rock, drainage erosion control and landscaping projects.

Conversion: 1m3 = 1.5 tonne**

40mm River Pebble

Naturally washed round river stones, 40mm in size. Ranging in colour from blue grey to brown these rocks are hard and durable for use around gabion rock, drainage erosion control and landscaping projects.

75-150mm River Pebble

Naturally washed round river stones, 40mm in size. Ranging in colour from blue grey to brown these rocks are hard and durable for use around gabion rock, drainage erosion control and landscaping projects.

Black Scoria

Black Scoria will last for many years without changing colour or breaking down, great at insulating the ground underneath, reducing water usage and stress to plants.

Conversion: 1m3 = 0.9 tonne**

Eucy Mulch

A quality controlled softfall mulch that is ideal for an impact- absorbing playground surfacing. Also commonly used in mulching, as a weed suppressant and in garden beds. Extremely low maintenance and is great for water filtration.

Conversion: 1m3 = 0.45 tonne **

Bush Mulch

An environmentally friendly and natural product consisting of a bled of leaf, woodchip and fines. Bush Mulch breaks down over time to improve soils.

Conversion: 1m3 = 0.40 tonne **

1″ Tan Bark

A natural pine bark mulch which holds it colour. Sized at around 10mm, it can be utilised for mulching garden beds, pots, trees and shrubs. This mulch is best used as a protective barrier to assist in reducing weed growth in garden beds, and breaks down over time, adding organic matter and nutrient value in the soil.

Conversion: 1m3 = 0.35 tonne**

30mm Soil Conditioner

Derived from green organic materials, soil conditioner improves the soil by increasing water retention when added to sandy soils, general improvements to clay soils, and reintroducing nutrients to the soil.

Conversion: 1m3 = 0.55 tonne**

Firewood – Ironbark

Western Queensland Ironbark is one of Australia’s best hardwood timber used as firewood for heating or BBQ Cooking. “Ironbark” is used to describe several denser eucalyptus species Low smoking, better burning and low ash residue.

Firewood – Ironbark / Redgum

Quality Australian Hardwood derived from Queensland. Perfect range of sizes so no splitting or cutting, clean and long burning. Red gum and Ironbark mix provide best heat possible and excellent value for money.

Firewood – Blocks

Quality Australian Hardwood derived from Queensland. Red gum and Ironbark mix unsplit rounds. provide best heat possible and excellent value for money. clean and long burning. A great size for the larger fireplaces or for use in wood work and furniture making.

General Purposes Cement

Boral (Blue Circle) General Purpose Cement is a general purpose Portland cement, conforming to AS 3972 type GP. Uses: general and major construction projects and concrete product applications. Typical applications: use in concretes, mortars, grouts and stabilisation where chemical attack is not a predicted risk.

Off White Cement

Boral Cement’s Off White Cement is a special purpose cement that exceeds the requirements of AS 3972 (general purpose and blended cements) as a type GP cement. It is produced from specially manufactured light coloured portland cement clinker that provides the unique colour of this cement.

Rapid Set

Blue Circle® Rapid Set No-Mix Concrete is a proportioned blend of dry aggregate, graded sands, cement and additive mixture suitable for post hole applications where lower than normal strength is acceptable.

Hydrated Lime

Hydrated Lime is mainly used in conjunction with cement for mortar, render and plaster. It also has a multitude of uses around the garden or farm such as pH neutralisation, fungus control and compost acceleration. Hydrated Lime is often referred to as slaked lime and is frequently used for soil stabilisation.

Bycol – 1L, 5L & 20L

Diggers Bycol Clear is an air-entraining admixture used to improve the workability of brickwork mortars and concrete mixes and compensates for poorly graded sands. Diggers Bycol Clear provides a more durable mortar and concrete by reducing segregation and bleeding
